Shipwreck necklace

White stoneware clay from St Agnes impressed with handmade square sided copper nails which we find on our walks on local beaches. They will have been washed up from old wrecks around the wild Cornish coastline. I treasure them, as I do all my beach finds and they all have a home in my studio.
This 10.5cm wide necklace is fired with blue celadon glaze, white glaze and a copper oxide wash.
