Ebb raised bowl

A wheel thrown raised white stoneware bowl with a real sense of flow to it. Layers of blue amd green glazes move across the surface, blending and breaking in a way that feels a bit like the tide going out - soft, shifting and never the same twice.
The raised form gives it a lightness and lets the glaze do its thing, pooling and running naturally as it fires. The bowl is just as happy being used as a fruit bowl or sitting quietly on display. I have added a carved scallop design to the base if the foot for added interest and texture.
It measures approximately 22.5cm diameter and is 17cm tall. My maker’s mark is stamped inside the base.
