Earthmarks Ochre Carved Pot

A curved narrow necked wheel thrown pot which has deeply carved patterns flowing across the warm ochre surface. Slip trailed dots have been applied for additional texture.
A tactile vessel which is as much about the pleasure of surface and touch it is about form - earthy, bold and quietly reminiscent of something ancient.
Measuring approx 19cm tall x 12cm at its widest. 3cm neck diameter.
Glazed with ochre celadon glaze to stoneware temperatures.
