Pebble vessel IV

A curved pot thrown on my traditional Leach kick wheel with local white stoneware clay. The surface is smoothed with a favourite pebble from Newlyn beach before carving lines which are then inlaid with black slip. 
Fired with a glossy smoky grey celadon glaze applied to the inside and a clear matte glaze on the outside.
My maker’s mark is stamped on the base.
Measures approx. 8.5cm tall x 15cm at its widest with a 10.5cm neck diameter and 5cm base diameter.
